Gethsemane Ranch is the miraculous realization of a vision God has given us. That vision continues to grow through our wonderful youth, whom we have come to know and love. The sharing of so many helping hands, each one connected by the love of Christ, that shapes and continues to shape our kids. God said he would provide a place for the youth today. To supply them with the safety they need, to discover who they are in God's eyes and not fall in the worlds traps and schemes.

I grew up in central Florida. I am 35 years old and I always had a love for kids and animals.
I suffered with dyslexia, and as a child I felt different. I found acceptance with other kids when I started to drink with them.
When I was 25 years old, I lost my best friend, my Father. I hated God for taking him from me. I started to rebel and my problems only grew.
I did meet a beautiful woman, and together we had a beautiful daughter, but somehow, that was not enough to fill the empty hole within my heart. I ended up losing everything, including my wife and daughter. Drugs and alcohol had replaced everything that was dear to me.
God has helped me work through my issues. With the help of Dunklin Memorial Camp and now Gethsemane Ranch, I continue to grow in my relationship with God. He filled that emptiness and returned my love for kids and animals. Now, I am given the opportunity to tell others about Jesus when they come to the Gethsemane Ranch.
